Draught, 5.1% at the brewpub. Cloudy dark orange color, sparkling. Big stable creamy white head. The flavour is mildly bready, hint of yeast and citrus. Also bready aftertaste, quite pleasant. Low bitterness. Actually tastes a bit of chewed malt.

Draught at Stiegl-Ambulanz, Vienna. Dark golden with a medium white head. Big grainy nose and in flavour - extremely worty. Low fruity hops that are barely detectable. Short finish. Dreadful.

Hazy golden color. Big head. Nice aroma of malted barley. The body is medium-weak, with some good malt and cereals flavor, and light residual sweetness; the bitterness is correct.
I’m still annoyed by the inflexibility and stupidity of the service, but the beer is not bad.

1 l fliptop bottle, bought at the brewpub and taked away, tasted on the 16th of november, before my operation....
Poured golden with a nice white head. Some unbalanced straw and sesame aroma with earthy malt and some hop. The beer is a little unbalanced with a malt based flavor, sourish yeast and some straw and grassy hop in the finish. It could be better, but not this bottle...

Cloudy honey golden coloured, medium sized white head that went away fast, bready cereals nose. Weak malty, light hoppy and herbal with bready notes in the finish. Quite watery.

500ml vom Fass (4.9% ABV) at the brew pub, student campus, Wien. Unfiltered beer with an unclear golden body and a lasting, creamy head. Light malty aroma and taste. The flavour also brings a touch of sweet fruits. Rounded palate. Refreshing after a guided tour at the university (04.12.2007).

Comments: Very sparkling example, relatively dry, but fruity and rather dark.

(Draught at the brewpub; ABV 4.9%) Pronouncedly malty, slightly hoppy and grainy aroma. Golden colour, hazy, pronouncedly carbonated and large, white head with fair lacing. Strongly malty, slightly hoppy, slightly fruity, grainy and slightly acidic flavour. Medium-bodied, slightly sticky and lively carbonated palate. Tasty basic helles! 14/05/07

Fresh aroma, light lemon note. Pale golden color, light cloudy, lively carbonation, small compact head. Light sweet and light fruity. Spicy, grainy but no full taste. Light grainy, light bitter finish. Nice, but unassuming taste.
