Serving: from tap at Zippyís Giant Burgers.
Aroma: light floral hops.
Appearance: very small, white, initial head that quickly dissipated. No lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Hazy, medium-yellow body.
Taste: moderately sweet, wheaty initial flavor and finish with average duration.
Palate: light bodied with oily texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: very good and easy to drink. Great summer beer.

Not my favorite style of beer although I was in the market for a lower gravity, session-able beer to serve during a 4 hour event for a large group of people. Purchased a sixth barrel from the brewery on 1/31/15 and keg was consumed by sundown the next day. Some notes of citrus and nice presentation with light head served at 44 degrees in half liter glasses at 8-9 psi. Tasted clean and crisp with a slightly sweet finish. Some guests attempted black and tans layering with optimator. Overall a decent value 41 pints for $75.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
Poured from a bomber into a beer can glass on 07.16.14.
A: Typical bitter hop smell like Hallertau or Noble hops. Lots of sweet grain too. Is this an adjunct lager?
A: See through straw yellow. Slight fizz of a head that quickly recedes.
T: Bitter grain, sweet malt, and maybe corn dominate. Flower and a sourness are subtle.
O: Itís not balanced at all. It also has urine-like element. Ammonia. This was very much like a macro brewery adjunct lager. Maybe it needs a lime or four. I gave it to the kitchen sink instead.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2014 Can from Total Wine.
Cloudy maize with a white head. Nose of lemon, bread, a bit of sourness. Pretty full body for 4.5%. Flavor pretty much follows the aroma. Quite wheaty. Pretty strong yeast/light sourness to this one, not nearly clean enough for the Kolsch style with which it is labeled on the can ("Golden/Blond ale" as used here may be a better choice, but I canít say I know enough about that style--other than that I often have to drink it when in Canada--to really be certain.) Abundant corn, almost to the point that I start recalling macro lagers. The favor is just off here. Itís....dirty. American comes up with some solid stuff, but not this time.
tl;dr summary: They promised Michelle Pfeiffer, but delivered Michele Bachmann.

12 oz can. Pours a light golden color with short head. Small hops and big citrus fruit and melon aroma. Love the can here. "Chill it and kill it", it says. Brilliant. Really refreshing light beer. Super easy drinking. Good for when you feel like drinking 8 of them. Iím happy with the one. Will drink again.

An odd one. Totally reminds me of 10 barrelís Swill. That is, thereís a fruitiness in the flavor that is offputting, although not so much as in Swill (less sweet -- but still sweet -- here). Ultimately, I think they have a labeling issue -- this is not a blonde ale.

Draft at their brewpub. Very pale yellow-gold beer. Quite dry and soft ale, as they say on the light lager end of things. Sweet, yeasty. Alright

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Golden straw, ridiculously huge snow white rocky creamy head no matter how soft the pour. Aroma of citrus and mild malts. Taste is lemon citrus, lightly sweet pale malt, a hint of honey, low bitterness. Lively carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Clean, crisp and dry, a refreshing sessional quencher. 1.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle date: unk
A: pours a yellow ale with no head and near excellent clarity. No lace. Meh.
S: Smells mostly of butter and corn. Not much else. No hops. Some sweet malt I guess, but I feel like Iím stretching it.
T: Tastes like the smell I recall from my grandpa when he drank upwards of two cases of ranier daily. Not good. A sweet, chemical flavor with some slight grassy tones.
M: Thin and slightly carbonated. Needs much more carbonation.
Serving type: bottle

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bomber bought for a friends son to broaden his horizons. Hazy amber with an off white head. Very mild, some lemon, stale caramel, high carbonation, mild body, probably suffered compared to what else was being drunk but found it skunky and not enjoyable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Since I married and American Blonde, Iím drinking this one as my 2500th rating. Pours a hazy dark golden color with a very thick white head on it. Nose is decently spicy, I find, with just a hint at some banana in there as well. Taste is just a little sweet, and feels very light and smooth. Really nice easy drink for the summer.
