4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
For the style, very beguiling, and one of the better ones. Quite complex -- solid malt backbone, but there’s some sort of slight sweetness -- fruity? citrusy? -- mixing in there, too. Hops of course are there, in balance, and ends with a satisfying slight bitterness.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Medium golden pour, slightly cloudy, substantial lasting head with good lacing. Aroma is mild malt and hop with minor citrus notes. Flavor is a nice balance of malt and hops, with a surprising level of resinous taste. Finish is fairly bitter for a pale ale, and it lingers quite a while. Overall, pretty refreshing pale and the pushes into IPA territory. Solid.

Cloudy amber color with compact head. Classic American Pale Ale, dry, with paper and caramel flavor, and strong hopping, with some hop resins, light citrus fruits, a bit puckery.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle courtesy of HypoLuxa at Asahiya.. A lovely golden copper pour with a foamy beige head with staying power. A great tropical fruit hop bouquet wafts from the glass. Medium full bodied with a zesty mouthfeel like a spritzer. The taste is well-balanced between fruity hops, piney notes & biscuity malts. Love the label love & the flavor.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber thanks to michaelinwa. Pours a hazy golden amber color with a small foamy head that fades to a very thin ring. Aroma is very nice. Nice mix of citrus, pine, and grass hops with a big bready and biscuity malt base. The hops are more subdued in the taste. Nice malty sweetness up front and a light bitterness in the finish. Big biscuity taste throughout with some nice citrus fruit and dry hops. Crisp finish. My kinda pale ale.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Hayduke. We had this together via facebook chat. We both rolled our bottles to loosen sediment. A lot broke free in mine. The result was a very dingy appearance that was kind of brownish copper. A nice beige head. The aroma is full of citrus fruit and especially grapefruit. The first sip gives the exact same thing. Big bitterness that is grapefruit zest. It is dry and bitter. After that I taste pineapple. By midglass that bitterness had moderated and more fruit took its place. A little malt, too, although this is very much hop forward. Tropical fruit grows toward the finish. And then the last 2 sips bring out some coconut. Where did that come from. I liked this beer. It was totally about the north west hops and they are very good.

(Nitro version) On tap at 8 Ounce Burger. Biscuity malt, faded hint of pine and grapefruit. Creamy smoothness seems to kill some of the character.
