Draft at special brews. Pours nearly black with a loose creamy tan head. Big roasty dark nose, also showing some co2 bite and some lightly herbal hop note. Creamy thick body with lively carb. Roasty black bread mid palate with herbal hop presence. Dark roasty finish.

On tap at the brewery. This is not my favorite style, but apparently I like just about anything this Skip guy brews! Full of hops and fruit, complex malt, and 8%. A winter warmer indeed. An excellent recipe.

Clear brown in color, thin tan head. Super rich dark malt and dried fruit like flavors. Very rich aroma sweet and light hops. The hops come through more in the flavor. Skip does a great job with this brew.

Tap@ AmEricanbrewing. Black body with lasting tan sheen. Nice pine sap, semi-sweet chocolate, medium roast aromas. medium body with a soft mouthfeel. Nice smooth semi-sweet chocolate flavors at first, with a hoppy bitter pine sap, citrusy twang to finish--very tasty
