No penalties or fouls called on this "High Stick"! Based on Skips World Beer Cup Silver Medal winning recipe the result is a deep ruby red ale where the citrus bouquet tries to gain control over the caramel malty sweetness, neither one giving an inch. The result is a spirited win for you!

Draught at the brewery, 8.5% ABV
Dark brown color, cloudy, with beige compact head. The armoa is quite fruity, a bit resiny. Strong body; caramel flavor, with moderate sweetness, but also with a dusty feeling; strong bitterness, with a moderate fruity and resiny character.

Aroma starts with some tropical fruit, moves to floral notes, toasted malts, caramel, some light fruitiness. Pours dark reddish brown, tannish oily head. The flavor is tropical to start moves through floral hops, touches some caramel and tofee and finishes floral. Not overly iced tea like, cloying, or heavy. Actually a nice imperial red. Good hop presence, nice medium body with good hop resin.
