Thin, dry pale malt body. Some stale biscuit character. Apple peel and thin metallic notes. Messy and uninteresting. Serve cold or not at all.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bsp77 (724) - Minnesota, USA - SEP 4, 2011
Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Nonic Imperial Pint.
Appearance: Clear copper-gold with thin off-white head. No lacing.
Aroma: Cherry, caramel, and spicy & floral hops. Smells more like a Vienna Lager with a touch of citrus.
Taste: Very malty, semi-sweet, with cherry, toast, apple and caramel. The light hop counterbalance cuts the sweetness with spicy, floral and citrusy hops. Aftertaste has a strange sharpness to it.
Palate: Moderately high carbonation, light to medium body, fairly dry finish. Feels a little spritzy.
Overall: If it wasn’t for the aftertaste, this would have been a fairly decent ale. As is, meh.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 crazyvin (1572) - New York, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Poured a clear light gold color with a thick head that faded to a thin coating quickly, no lace. Body seemed to have a little more carbonation to bubbles rose up from the middle long after I poured. Aroma had a nice floral hop note and some bread like malts. Flavor seemed a little lacking. Slightly bitter hops with no real balance from the malts. Body was a little thin.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 DSG (3004) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - AUG 19, 2011
Bottle. Beer of the month club. Clear amber color with a medium white head. Fresh citric hops aroma with some nice biscuity malt notes. Flavor starts sweetish and malty with notes of biscuits and caramel, then finishes moderately bitter with slightly grapefruity hops. Medium-bodied. Easy-drinking with some pleasant hoppiness.
