on tap at America’s. pours hazy gold with white head. nose is spicy, yeasty. flavor has some tart lemony spicey notes. some banana as well. really light body and easy drinking.

On tap at the brewpub: This was America-apostrophe-s Illinois ReplicAle for 2008. It poured a slightly hazed golden body with a short-lived white head. It had a light soapy, yeasty aroma with an underllying pale malt sweetness. The flavor held some fruitiness as well, pears and bananas, with a lemon rind and zest bitterness that lingered in the finish. Nice sessionable ale.
