This is what it’s designed to be, a sessionable, malty ale. Looking much like an amber ale, there’s also brownish tints to the body that’s topped with a modest head. The nose and taste are a sweet lightly toast malt, a touch of soft nuts, and an almost negligible earthy bitterness to balance it out. Okay.

Tried this one out on tap while up judging the Drunk Monk Challenge but didn’t have time for good notes... all I wrote down was "Delicious - their best beer while here!"

on tap at Americas. pours an odd amber color with white head. nose of just toasted malt. flavor is slightly toasted, earthy, some nutes. not much flavor.
