Just another day at the bank. Very light, mild ale with a subtle hop finish. Brewed once a year in early Spring.

Draught pint at the brewpub. Translucent medium amber with a bit of lasting off-white head, touch of lacing....light, pleasant biscuity-malt aroma, touch of fresh grass and faint mild herbs (thyme).....very bland, lightly malty body, vague hints of dry woody hops to finish....watery, dull, a bit lactic and sour-milky to finish, this gets really quite unpleasant as it warms and becomes hard to drink by the time I get 2/3 of the way through with it....I don’t think Amherst does the subtle stuff well, unfortunately.

Extremely light hop notes oon the aroma. Classic golden ale appearance. Very mild flavor...a bit one-dimensional.

sampled at the brewpub. Aroma is light floral hops and grains, taste is light and grainy with a very small amount of bitterness in the finish. not a terrible lighter style of beer.

Hopistotle420 (1178) - Amherst, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 10, 2005
Draught: Pours a clear yellow golden hue. Grainy malt nose. Small quickly dissipating whitish head. Not much in the way of flavor. Crisp clean and not exciting. Clean herbal hops in the finish. Light in body. Lawnmower beer all the way homer...
