Amherst Double Vision IPA

This must be a big seller so freshness could not be an issue. C hop aroma, small head and lace in the glass, OK so far. Grapefruit taste but dry, chemical taste, terrible something gone wrong in a chemical factory aftertaste.Incredibly dissapointing double.

16oz draft at the restaurant downstairs. The Amherst Brewing Company is the best place in Amherst for a burger and a beer. This beer stood out on the chalkboard. The "double" was underlined. The aroma was lemon, citrus, and boozy pine. The color was dark orange and brown with a small head. The flavors were pine trees, molasses, oranges, and alcohol. This was similar to the Great Divide Hercules that I had last weekend. This was by far the best ABC beer that I have had. The imperial stout was 2nd. The Puffer’s Smoked Porter is 3rd.
