tap. è migliorata molto da quando l’ho bevuta la prima volta.un buon aroma fruttato ed erbaceo che si ritrova anche nel gusto,un leggero sentore acido e una buona persistenza.

Keg (Bir&Fud, Rome)
Huge fig and date aroma. Slightly sour grainy taste. Then there’s the nuts too, but they’re quite subtle. It’s a touch acidic, and the graininess is high. There’s however a sweet sticky breakfast-cereal finish, despite the fact that the taste isn’t sweet. Feet firmly planted in the ’fermented wort from grains’ school, which I like. Never felt a dot over 6%, good show!

On tap at Bir & Fud. Dark reddish brown with a lacing tan head. Complex fruity and spicy aroma, noticeable chestnut. Chestnut flavours that are well-balanced. Well-carbonated. Very nice.

Bottle shared by KnutAlbert@Oslo Øljunta Olympen Gathering. A filmy, greyish head over a hazy, orangey-red body. Herbs and flowers in the aroma. Also some dryish malts and a sharp fruitiness. Taste is acidic fruits with a sour accent, backed by light sweet, caramellish malts. Sharp, almost astringent mouthfeel. Unripe citrus in the finish. Quite a quencher, a bit unbalanced maybe.

Small white coarseish head. Muddy brown body. Caramelly hoppy vinegary aroma. Dry-acidic caramelly wooden metallic taste with fruity wild berry notes. Mid-to-thin body. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry astringent acidic aftertaste with wooden vinegar notes. Too acidic for me. (0.75l bottle at Oslo beer junta tasting.)

Bottle from Johnny’s, Rome. Red, little carbonation, vinous aroma. Lemon playing with the sweet malt, a hint of perfume.

No head left. Copper-amber beer. Astringency in the nose, solvent, bitterish. Sweet-sour taste, unbalanced, going into sharpish MF, more acidity and astringency, and thin body. More than probably infected.

Draught at Salone della Birra Artigianale e di Qualità 2008, Milan
Cloudy amber color; big creamy head. It has a harmonious aroma, lightly smokey, salami. Strong mouthfeel, extremely powerful, with good malt, light smokey, cocoa powder, light sourness. Very solid, good, powerful, dynamic.
