Keg (Bir&Fud, Rome)
Huge fig and date aroma. Slightly sour grainy taste. Then there’s the nuts too, but they’re quite subtle. It’s a touch acidic, and the graininess is high. There’s however a sweet sticky breakfast-cereal finish, despite the fact that the taste isn’t sweet. Feet firmly planted in the ’fermented wort from grains’ school, which I like. Never felt a dot over 6%, good show!
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 JorisPPattyn (7363) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 7, 2008
No head left. Copper-amber beer. Astringency in the nose, solvent, bitterish. Sweet-sour taste, unbalanced, going into sharpish MF, more acidity and astringency, and thin body. More than probably infected.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 larsga (5364) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 20, 2009
Small white coarseish head. Muddy brown body. Caramelly hoppy vinegary aroma. Dry-acidic caramelly wooden metallic taste with fruity wild berry notes. Mid-to-thin body. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry astringent acidic aftertaste with wooden vinegar notes. Too acidic for me. (0.75l bottle at Oslo beer junta tasting.)
