33 cl. Lotto 769, 5,0 %vol.

On tap.

Slightly cloudy amber body, beige head. Aroma of smoked malt, caramel and nuts. Flavours of smoked malt, light caramel and nutty notes. The smoked malt is too forward and hide too much. Short slightly bitter finish. Could have been better but too unbalanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing! The beer starts smooth and fresh. Not too sweetish. Nice malty body with hints of nuts. Fresh, malty and round. Easy to drink with a nutty malty and smooth aftertaste. Nice and refreshing with depth. Nearly no bitterness there.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2015 6.7% alle Castaneda on tap at il Serpente a dive bar if I ever saw one. Tip off, toilet with no seat! 5 euros a pour, it is an opaque Amber brown with a thick beige head. The nose is malty, earthy, caramel & fudge. Medium to light bodied with a round carbonation. The taste is freaky: green tobacco leaf followed by a bitter hop bite than gives you some sweet lemony citrus. Not my cup of tea at all... had this again at Bir&Fud where I heard it was made using chestnuts. There it was an amber/copper with a light beige head & a malty sweet liquid bread nose. The taste is bitter, a bit metallic with a dry finish plus some spice & nuts.

on tap at the weyermann birthday party. faintly hazed brown with a light purple tinge and a light brown head; aroma suggests chestnuts and hazelnuts; quite sticky, some alcohol showing, although there was no risk of the beer warming on this chilly night in the courtyard; a bit too woody for my tastes
