Bottle 75cl @ [ Mafioso Blind Tasting @ yespr, Bottle #21.]
Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is sour, smokey notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and sour milk with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Clearly infected IMO. (300508)

Bottled.An amber beer with sediment floating around under a lazing orangey head. The aroma is sweet matly with notes of caramel and light notes of smoke. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of caramel, leading to a dry finish with notes of oranges. Huge thanks to yespr for sharing.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Hazy amber golden with floating impurities. Smal and creamy off-white head. Aroma of lightly tart fruit. Light body with dry caramel notes and a dry and lightly tart finish. Again traces of infection. 290508

Bottle#21: 75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Mild spiced aroma with a light yeasty note. Flavour is yeasty, slight acidic and with a medium dry caramel malt base. Ends spiced and with a mild herbal note.

Bottle #21 at yesprs mafioso blind tasting. Hazy orange coloured with floaties and a medium sized off white ehad. Sweet aroma of malts, caramel, fruits and flowers. Fruity flavour of caramel, spices, flowers and hops with acidic notes.

Cloudy light amber color. Sweetish and perfumy aroma, with a light sourness and smokey touch. Medium body; it seems to be a quite simple Ale, with sweetish malt flavor, but with a small infection in it (hence the low Overall rating).

2008-05-25, bottle, 5-5-5-3-10=28
Cloudy amber color, creamy head, and overcarbonation. There is some malt, and a light smokey touch from the chestnuts; but like the one I had on draught, this one as well shows signs of infection.

Cloudy amber color; creamy head. It’s a quite common Ale, but also some characteristics are covered by a probably light infection.

So, in the end, I had it 3 times and each time it was infected… probably chestnuts are not suitable for brewing.

[Italian Blind tasting @ yespr, Bottle 21#] Hazy amber with floaties and a medium white head. Sourish aroma with smoky and yeasty notes. Sourish flavor with toasted malt, caramel, citric and smoky notes. Clearly infected.

Bottle @ RBESG, Rome. Pours unclear golden with a small creamy head and lacings. Yeast, rubber and dust. Vague tartness . .

Bottle at RBESG 2010, Rome. Cloudy amber - offwhite head. Sweetness. Light sourness. Æight off. Wheaty. Red berries. Fruity.

Numero ventuno de la degustazione cieco in casa di yespr. Botella. Amber reddish colour. The aroma is malty and fruity. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour has toasted malt, caramel, spices, some sourness and fruits. Mild bitter finish.
