From Birra Amiata, one of Italy’s most creative craft brewers, comes this marvelous Italian take on the India Pale Ale style. A delicately hopped nose marries perfectly with an assertively hopped malt character to give a beer that is full-bodied with a clean, bright finish. Re-fermened in the bottle.

7/21/2011 6:21:31 AM On Cask at Moeder Lambic F. Hazy yellow body with big head. Taste is quite malty for an IPA. Smooth, sweet and some hops for sure. But also quite malty and subdued. An interesting twist on the IPA.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - lotto 659 - BB 16/07/2016, at 5th Street Bar, 20151211) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had herbalness, soap and honey. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were herbalness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A different kind hoppy brew. Not so pleasant because of the components resembling soap.

Bevuta a Roma il colore è arancio medio, ha una schiuma ottima e persistente. Al naso sento pompelmo, limone. In bocca i sapori sono confermati. Il finale amarognolo ma non troppo, corpo medio. Molto buona

Colore giallo chiaro, molto torbida, schiuma pannosa. Aroma agrumato, bene al palato con una discreta pulizia e amarezza. Alcol si percepisce solo dopo qualche sorso.

Bottle. Moderate aromas all around, with roasted for the malt, perfume and orange peel for the hops, soap for the yeast, and pineapple, licorice and medicine in the background. Head is large, frothy, white with some slippery lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is muddy amber/tan. Flavor starts moderately acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and heavily bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a lively to fizzy carbonation. some nice aromas with diverse flavors make this and unusual and interesting IPA.
