UPDATED: MAY 27, 2009 With Chinook, Cascade, Amarillo

2009-03-22, draught at IBF 2009, Milan, 8-5-7-3-15=38
Hazy amber color; huge creamy head. Very nice fruity hop (mango and apricot). Medium body, some sweetness, malt flavor, a bit dry at the end, and light vegetables touch.

2009-03-21, draught at IBF 2009, Milan, 8-5-7-3-15=38
Hazy amber color; big head. Very good hop aroma, with mango and light oranges. Malt and caramel flavor, getting weaker and drier at the end. Good.

2008-03-28, draught at Salone della Birra Artigianale e di Qualità 2008, Milan, 7-5-7-5-15=39
With Chinook and Amarillo hops

Cloudy golden color; big head. It has a very nice hoppy aroma, not fruity, but with leaves and a lot of resins, delicate. The body is average, less strong than expected, with good caramel and toffee flavor, but getting drier at the end, probably for the strong hop resins, giving a late light astringency too. Very long final of American hops. I’m missing some body and malt here, but good hop, almost honeyish. Very pleasant.

Bottle, 75cl. It pours a slightly unclear, golden body and a creamy, two-finger, beige head. Some microfloaties. Lightly milky on the nose, fruity and citrusy hops. Some sweetness in the mouth, with sufficient bitterness to deal with it. Some sourness too. Bitter finish with a sweet backdrop. Medium to full body and pleasant level of carbonation. Definitely not my idea of an IPA, but it’s a nice beer anyway. 110401
