From Birra Amiata, one of Italy’s most creative craft brewers, comes this marvelous Italian take on the India Pale Ale style. A delicately hopped nose marries perfectly with an assertively hopped malt character to give a beer that is full-bodied with a clean, bright finish. Re-fermened in the bottle.

bottle from a tutta birra in milan opened in zagreb with doggythedog. unfiltered and bottle-conditioned. go italy! cloudy dark orange/brown colored body with a creamy speckled head. nose of pineapple, mango, caramelized peaches, burnt lemon juice... spice character in the nose is significant. medium to heavy bitterness. body is mildly astringent and rough. crystal-like malt base is coated in spruce and anise-like spices. another unique and creative italian take on an established beer style.

GBBF. Bottle split with Scopey and Leighton. Hazy gold beer, big off white creamy head. Light, soft and dry palate. Nice hops, fresh orange with a little peach. Mild honeyish malt. Semi dry finish. Decent.

Bottle. Pours cloudy gold with thin, fizzy white head; short retention and no lacing. Aroma is spice, floral and grassy hops, citrus fruit, biscuit malt, and light herbs. Flavor is balanced malt and hops with light supporting citrus esters; dry, crisp finish. Light body, medium carbonation, and low warmth.

Bottle to snifter. Looks good; orange with thin lacing. Smells good too; citrusy. Tastes pretty good; a blend of citrus and hops. Mouthfeel is average. Not too shabby.

Bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate grass hop and small malt aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Pale, hazy gold pour. Nose is a lot like Oxbow’s farmhouse pale, with nice bread, citrus hops, touches of herbal notes, and lemongrass. Flavor is quenching and tasty. Quite nice.

The aroma is exactly the same as from the tap, flavor is a bit hoppier. Can’t find any particular differences with the tap version. Nice.
Draught @ City Beer, San Francisco.
Pours hazy golden color with small head. Aroma of fruits, hops, grass, floral notes and lemon. Flavour of citrus fruits, hops, caramel notes and hay. Quite nice mildly hopped session ipa.

Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - capped 750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium orange with a sticky white head that leaves a luxuriant coat of lacing. Aroma is more floral than spruce with a hint of yeast. Fresh flavor with some nice slight citrusy bittersweet notes, a hint of fruitiness - nectarines and pears, very light spiciness, reminiscent of grains of paradise. Thickish mouthfeel. Pretty solid.

Nice top, like the color and the overall look, the taste is not really 100% what I like to sweet and not as hoppy and fresh as prefer.. I do enjoy it...
