Large bottle from Umbria supermarket, nice surprise. Pours Hazed yellow-gold with really strong white foamy head. had the hybrid cap that i’ve seen on a few bottle fermented beers around here. Dry-yeasty hop nose, really nice. Body is tight and carbonated, sharp bittering over dry green hops. Very nice ipa from italy.

750 ml bottle, as "La Biscara" (7% ABV). A hazy medium blonde/orange beer with a large, frothy, fully lasting white head. The aroma is lightly to moderately malty (cookies), moderately hoppy (flowers, grapefruit, hint of pine). The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to modeartelya cidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, quite long finish with medium bitterness. Good looking and perfumey, not as intense in the mouth, but not bad, either. And with an excellent balance for the style. It doesn’t taste 100% American, because it has something British. Tasty.

75 cL bottle as La Biscara. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aorma is citrusy and mild peachy. Sweet fruity, citrusy and peachy. Quite bitter and with a citrusy bite. Ends dry and bitter yet with an uplifting fruity sweet impression.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, hops, and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, fruit, and some phenols, leading to a dry phenolic finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Comes as: "Le Rustiche La Biscara". Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head. The nose is spicy and yeasty with some citrusy hops. Medium body, sweet fruit and citrusy hops. There’s a vague underlying tartness. The finish has a little grapefruitish bitterness. 100910

A Mes rate. Bottle thanks to Mario.
Great stuff ratebeer. Your stupid over administrated database wins again. This is called La Biscara and the abv is 6.9 NOT 8%. In addition Mario is certain it was a different colour to this other beer that I’m having to put this rate under. Pathetic. Whatever. We have to live with it don’t we? The La Biscara is a really good beer, ranting aside. Bright, clean orange gold with a really good white head. Massive tangerine and Amarillo like stuff on the snout. Clean and fruity in the mouth. Great dryness and bitterness. Slight spice. British yeast? If it isn’t it really does drink like it. Excellent stuff. And apparently, this bottle cost €4 in a supermarket. I wish...
