Tried on Warsaw beer festival (4th edition). Very good aroma (as for that BLG) with smoky notes. Great, very classical appearance, exactly as Grodziskie should be. Nice, light and smoky taste. Bitterness could be a little higher. Aftertaste is very short but nice. Very refreshing and drinkable. Such a great representative of a style. Worth to try. Grodziskie absolutely should be a separate style from Gose or Lichtsteiner, because beers like that are rated much, much lower than it should be, due to the lack of knowledge of this style by a consumers (especially non-european).

On tap.

Smoke and sour notes in the aroma. A bit rough and astringent with too much smoke. Dry finish.

Bottle split at GBBF ’15, day 1, 11/08/15. Hazed yellow with a big old Mr Whippy white cap. Nose is subtle smoke, toasted bread, spice, straw, light medicinal and herbal notes. Taste comprises smoked malt, citric peel, spice, orange, lemon zest, touch of bread. Medium bodied, light prickly carbonation, semi drying close with a puff of smoke. Decent enough offering.

Hazy paleish gold beer, tidy white head. Peaty nose! Oh oh! Palate is dry and mildly crisp. Light dry malts and dry floralness. Trace of citrus. Something that tastes like peat runs throughout. Dry finish. Bleh!

Bottle share at GBBF. Thanks! Pale yellow, hazy, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is smoked bacon, meaty, bread, salty, mint, isotonic drink. Body is medium, slightly foamy, low carbonation. Taste is smoked malts, light citrus. Flavour is a little watery but nice enough overall.

Bottle shared at GBBF 2015. It pours cloudy beige with a thick foamy white head. The nose is very bready, mild smoke, soapy citrus and rich ham. The taste is bitter, bready, mild smoke, earth, light acidity, lemon rind, grapefruit and barnyard with a dry finish. Light - medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Smooth and refreshing. A tasty example of the style.

Bottle shared at GBBF 2015, day 1 - London. Pours cloudy, very pale yellow, with a creamy white head. The nose holds light lemon zest with undertones of smoke. Light sweet flavor with notes of dry pale bread, smoke, light ham, pale grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish with relaxed dry smokiness, subtle ham, light bitter hay. Nice one.

Bottle from GBBF 2015 and drunk at home. A slightly smoky aroma. A smoky sour kinda beer. Rather tasty to be honest. Lemon. Very light salt. I rather liked it.
