drjay44 (44), USA Apr 22, 2008 This is the flagship of Amicas brews. Nice balance, good hops, reasonable malt. But, it is best after a bit of aging, and sometimes is released a little bit before its time. Every thing improves with time. goldtwins (3658), Nesconset, New York, USA Oct 30, 2007 GABF 2007: Poured a clear gold with an off-white head. Fresh hoppy aroma. Piny. Very fresh dry hop notes. Some malt but the big pine in the middle of the flavor. Dry finish. BeerandBlues2 (2370), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 28, 2007 Draught. Pours clear amber with a small, frothy, white head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain), heavy hops (perfume, grapefruit, pine), average yeast (sweat) with notes of pear and peach. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity, and harsh bitterness. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Oct 21, 2007 Date: 10/12/2007

AndrewKoransky (30), Salida, Colorado, USA Oct 25, 2006 While hunting around Colorado for a landing spot, we discovered Amicas in Salida Colorado. It was part of our decision to move to the area. And the IPA is one of their best. My taste buds detected a nice rye flavor (reminding me of one of my other favorites, Terrapin Rye PA). It has a wonderful hop aroma typical of a good west coast IPA. We’ll definitely be back many times to enjoy this beer.
