3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 3fourths (6385) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 2, 2003
GABF 2003: Dark gold and amber appearance. Beautiful cascade hop aroma. Sharp, stinging bitterness immidiately evident. While this is nice, it masks the flavor a little too much, so only a little hint of peaches and lemon show up. Palate is quite nice for an American IPA.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BeerandBlues2 (6096) - Lone Tree, Colorado, USA - OCT 28, 2007
Draught. Pours clear amber with a small, frothy, white head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain), heavy hops (perfume, grapefruit, pine), average yeast (sweat) with notes of pear and peach. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity, and harsh bitterness.

Amber color with hoppy, floral nose. Bitterness and alcohol dominate this ale. GABF notes also mention the word "boring".
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Aubrey (3191) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - SEP 8, 2005
Clear and light golden. Moderate carbonation; decent body. Huge grapefruit ... tasty grapefruit notes, I might add. Very aromatic and wafty flowers, too. Huge resinous hops with a lingering bitterness. Nice. Sweet dough malts struggled for attention, with roasty caramel and a sweet, candy-like base. Nice IPA, I have to say. Alcohol was a nice additional element, also.

Salida, CO Beer Fest-tap-Pours a nice orange hue with minimal white head. decent lacing. Nice fresh hop aroma, just liked a harvest ale. Lots of green hops on the flavors. Malts are toasty and add decent balance to this IPA.
