Draught. Pours clear amber with a small, frothy, white head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain), heavy hops (perfume, grapefruit, pine), average yeast (sweat) with notes of pear and peach. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity, and harsh bitterness.

Barrel Draught from the jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 29/09/2005 Golden coloured with hoppy and floral aromas. Some alcohol present. Slightly bitter lasting finish.

GABF 2003: Dark gold and amber appearance. Beautiful cascade hop aroma. Sharp, stinging bitterness immidiately evident. While this is nice, it masks the flavor a little too much, so only a little hint of peaches and lemon show up. Palate is quite nice for an American IPA.

Draft pint at the brewpub, 9/14/06: Nice amber color with a shiny sheen. Not much aroma, but it delivers a nice wood-chippy hoppiness. Quite delicious.

Clear golden with a thin white foamy cap. Lovely floral and leafy fresh hop nose with a touch of earthy dankness. Flavor is good and floral with a backing of grapefruit zest and orange rind, a little kiss of pine resin, earthy and leafy fresh bitterness, and a thick pale malt background.

GABF 2007: Poured a clear gold with an off-white head. Fresh hoppy aroma. Piny. Very fresh dry hop notes. Some malt but the big pine in the middle of the flavor. Dry finish.

Clean copper pour. Small white head. Slight haziness. Strong, hop bittering aroma. Smoth hoppy taste with a short smoth punch at the end. Holds its carbonation well. Delish. Better than what you’re drinking right now.

Clear and light golden. Moderate carbonation; decent body. Huge grapefruit ... tasty grapefruit notes, I might add. Very aromatic and wafty flowers, too. Huge resinous hops with a lingering bitterness. Nice. Sweet dough malts struggled for attention, with roasty caramel and a sweet, candy-like base. Nice IPA, I have to say. Alcohol was a nice additional element, also.
