There will be at least three different batches made at the brewery for the 2007-2008 winter season. The first was at 8.3% ABV and the third is under construction.
The color is good, with minimal carbonation, tiny head, minimal lacing, nice finish. This is a local cult beer amongst those of us who live nearby and is eagerly awaited. It is very consistant from year to year.

Oct 25, 2006 GABF 2006: Clear amber color with an off-white head. Malty flavor and aroma with notes of caramel and cereal flakes. Not much else going on in it. Some warmth to it but I don’t know the ABV. I don’t think it is too high.
