2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Murky flat lime nose. Nice enough light brown. Faint head. Downable. Super sweet. Lager and lime in a bottle and probably the least worse of Tequila beers I’ve ever had.
Bottle, February Tasting, Cheers Stu666...I think

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Smell of lime with a hint of Tequila, some malt. Pours a medium gold with a white head that stays. Medium carbonation and light body. Taste of citrus - tequila, vegetable and cardboard. I bought it as a chaser and its meant for light drinking while partying. It is drinkable and has a light feel for 6% but I would prefer to never drink it again.

Drank this from a bottle, clear bottle pale in colour, taste is very sweet with some citrus flavours, couldn’t taste the tequila and I was surprised about how strong this beer is

UPDATED: JUN 3, 2013 This shit is ok for generic Mexican piss swill...ive a soft spot for corona ...and can appreciate the rather garish idea of tequila in beer. It actually tastes alright ..sweet :dry and syrupy

Pour from an 11.17 oz bottle...Four pack from Tali’s Market. Dark yellow brew with white head. Aroma of citrus (citric acid) and a little tequila.Taste is sweet malt and corn, adjunct, lime / citrus flavor that verges slightly into being artificial, a little tequila. Would be better if the lime flavor was a little more natural.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
330ml bottle from Local Express, Kings Cross, London:
This one was a really terrible beer, by no means the worst I’ve tried but to be honest I wasn’t expecting much else from it & it probably wasn’t even quite as bad as I feared going in. Obviously it’ll not be one I’ll pick up again given it was far too sweet, thin & off-putting but I guess it could have been a lot worse.

Bottle, no tequila, in fact very little of anything other than lime, if it had been a blind tasting i’d have guessed i’d been drinking Foster’s and lime.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle at the Cape Town Festival of Beer 2011. (as Amigos Tequila Flavoured Beer) A clear light yellow colour with a small, good lacing white head. An aroma of apple and citrus. The taste is heavy sweet. A thin body, sticky texture, fizzy carbonation and a short duration. Not my kind of beer.
