Pours a copper colour with a small white head. Aroma of sweet honey, nuts and some grass. Flavour of grassy hops, sweet honey, dry nuts and some sweet toffee. Medium bodied, dry mouthfeel and a malty, dry, slightly metallic finish. Good.

Bottle @ Bierzwerg.de. Pours clear dark amber with a small white head. Grassy and grainy nose and flavor. Quite hayish. Medium bodied. Smooth.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Copper color. Very bready and nutty aroma, hint of something dull and dusty. Sweetish bready, nutty, honeyish and grainy taste. Some earthy-herbal hops and slight alcohol warmt also. Soft carbonation.

500ml bottle. Beautiful clear reddish golden colour with small frothy white head. Caramel malt aroma with hints of hay and fresh bread. Moderately sweet caramel malt taste, almost a touch of honey. Not very complex, but mouthfilling and lasting.

(bottle) pours a clear amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of roasted malts and barnyard, quite grainy, with a hint of marzipan. flavour is mostly the same, lots of roasted grainy malts, with a prominent sweetness and a slightly tart finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

[ Trade by Nightfall ]. Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, caramel, sweet malt, sugar. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, hay, straw, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120327]

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong and spicy, a little bit sourish. Woody-dry notes in the background. Finish a bit milder, but not washy, well balanced. Fine spicy aftertaste. Good beer!

Bottle. Amber color. Malty bready aroma with a hint of pear. Almost full bodied. Malty soft grassy flavor with pear.

Bottled 50cl. It pours an amber colored beer with a beautifully lacing, nicely lasting off white head. Caramel, figs, earthy spicy hops and a huge amount of carrots showing up in the nose. Sweet. Low carbonation. Full bodied. Malt accented. Subdued bitterness. Toasted malts, caramel and carrots in the finish.
