0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Copper color. Very bready and nutty aroma, hint of something dull and dusty. Sweetish bready, nutty, honeyish and grainy taste. Some earthy-herbal hops and slight alcohol warmt also. Soft carbonation.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong and spicy, a little bit sourish. Woody-dry notes in the background. Finish a bit milder, but not washy, well balanced. Fine spicy aftertaste. Good beer!

Bottled 50cl. It pours an amber colored beer with a beautifully lacing, nicely lasting off white head. Caramel, figs, earthy spicy hops and a huge amount of carrots showing up in the nose. Sweet. Low carbonation. Full bodied. Malt accented. Subdued bitterness. Toasted malts, caramel and carrots in the finish.

Quack-Duck (5918) - Down South, GERMANY - JAN 29, 2012
bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear, perhaps slightly hazy golden colour, large and creamy white head. Malty aroma. Full-bodied, lovely and intensive malty start with lots of good hops tuning in. The tongue indulges in biscuity flavours with shy hints of caramel and an incredible smoothness. A real rural gem!

Koelschtrinker (7034) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 3, 2011
9/9/12/12/11/12
