pivnizub (3826), Porúří, Germany Mar 1, 2007 Flip-top bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured, bigger, quite stable fluffy head; "oaky" spicy hops in the nose, supported by some fruitiness and a caramelly background; spicy bitter, almost dry flavour, light bodied, very soft Mf; stronger bitter-fruity-malty finish. A superb session beer........ MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Feb 22, 2007 (swing top bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a fluffy, slightly off-white frothy head, which is moderately persistent. Sweet, honey-ish malty, slightly toasted aroma with a touch of caramel and citrousy, resiny hops. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, the smooth carbonation in combination with soft brewing water makes a pleasant mouthfeel. Malty, slightly toasted taste with light notes of caramel; medium-dry, malty, slightly bitter finish with an aromatic spicy hoppy blend. The swing-tops are probably bottled elsewhere, but the beer has got the typical Dorn-Bräu character. Well-crafted and pleasant to drink. motelpogo (4111), Plzen, Czech Republic Feb 10, 2007 bottled. golden, quite a fresh and floral aroma. full-bodied, traces of vanilla and then some metal tang. not particularly pleasant
