A spicy dark Landbier by an excellent brewer....... MoritzF (3865), Ruhrpott, Germany Feb 22, 2007 (bottle) Slightly hazy, chestnut colour with a fluffy, quite persistent off-white foamy head. Dusty, slightly sweet toast-malty aroma wih the typical Dorn-Bräu barnyard-character, accompanied with a good dose of herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Malt-accented, toasty taste with toffee and light notes of chocolate. Moderately dry, toasty and slightly bitter finish.
