Mar 13, 2007 Bottle. Starts of slightly sweet, with some subtle nutty caramel notes, bready malt. Finishes off dry with some nice grassy hops, and a mild bitterness. Very drinkable.

Feb 28, 2007 Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured, firm creamy off-white head; barnyardy, sweet dark-malty and also a bit "oaky" hoppy nose; light bitter-sweet flavour, mild MF; distinctive aromatic hoppy and malty finish. A spicy dark Landbier by an excellent brewer.......

Feb 22, 2007 (bottle) Slightly hazy, chestnut colour with a fluffy, quite persistent off-white foamy head. Dusty, slightly sweet toast-malty aroma wih the typical Dorn-Bräu barnyard-character, accompanied with a good dose of herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Malt-accented, toasty taste with toffee and light notes of chocolate. Moderately dry, toasty and slightly bitter finish.
