(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Clear dark golden with an off-white head. Sweetish malty nose. Medium-bodied with plenty of clean, sweet malt. Subdued bitterness. Clean and pleasant. 230808

Bottle, 5.3%. Roasted aroma. Almost clear dark orange colour. The flavour is OK roasted with some dark maltiness.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a diminishing white head. Mild spiced and dry malty breadish aroma. Light spiced and breadish flavour with a nice dry bitterness coming through. Lingering malty dry finish.

Bottle: Deep, deep golden to light amber coloured, smaller off-white head, slowly diminishing to a small, but stable foamy layer; deep sweet dark-malty and peppery hoppy nose; medium bodied, moderate bitter-sweet flavour; lingering bitter-aromatic, slightly sweetish-malty finish. Great, well rounded franconian brew...........

(bottle) Slightly hazy, chestnut-coloured hue with a small, slightly off-white foamy head. Light-sweet malty, moderately toasty aroma with notes of toffee and a good dose of spicy herbal hops. Light-sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft and pleasant carbonation. Almost chewy malty taste, light notes of caramel/toffee; medium-dry, malty and slightly bitter finish with a moderate length. A pretty good Landbier with an aromatic, rural character.
