bottle from Bierzwerg. Golden colour, creamy white head. Intensively malty, with a good amount of grassy, aromatic hops. Well-balanced and very smooth.

Botlle. Dark hazy amber, fluffy offwhite lace. Bready grain, caramel, light fruity notes. Minerally on the tip of the tongue, bready, light roasted sugar and honey, grassy and herbal hops towards the finish. Fullbodied, mellow mouthfeel, a little bit sugary stickyness. Butterscotch retronasal.

Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is dry breaddy malt and fruity notes. Flavour is breaddy toffee, light alcohol, light grass and fruity notes.

Dark golden with a small white head. Malty aroma, with a hint of dusty hay. Sweetish rich malty flavour with hay and grass, and a medium bitter finish.

Bottle @ Bierzwerg.de. Pours dark golden with a small white head and lacings. Very bready, with quite some grass and hay. Smooth and medium bodied. Slight fruity tartness.

0.5 l bottle. Amber color. Toffeish and grassy aroma with some flowery notes. Sweet toffeish and grassy flavor with nutty finish. Soft palate, low carbonation. Very grassy, tastes as bit stale (BB May 2012).

500ml bottle. Clear dark amber with average frothy white head. Malt aroma has hay, straw, something like laurel or so. Taste has "darker", "deeper", "heavier" malt notes, bread, grain, decent sweetness. Cautious, lacks some breadth.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong and spicy, modest dry. Bitter background. Finish hard-metallically, less spicy than the beginning. Not my favourite.

(bottle) pours a clear copper-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of herbal hops and grain, chestnuts, treebark, grass and white pepper, very rustic. flavour is mostly grass and slightly roasted grain, quite autumnal, with a pronounced minerally finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Amber color. Milky dusty aroma with a hint of cinnamon. Malty bready flavor, spicy with cinnamon and cardemom. Soft grassy notes. Tasty beer.
