courtesy of Allen - cloudy reddish-brown colour with a solid and persistent beige foam; nice lace; the nose is malt dominated with fair earthy and biscuity notes along with some flowery hints in the background; quite high carbonation, tart and medium-bodied, sweet and bitter; the finish is effervescent with light earthy and caramelish notes

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2009 Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of Karl Ramisberger. Sweet malty. Pleasant. Very drinkable with hints of raspberries. Additional comment: Rather minty. Coffeish. Impressive. I enjoyed the second bottle much more, still staying with the initial rating. Great stuff. It might have been the Festbier the second time.
