BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Jul 2, 2008 This was very easy to drink. A nice take on one of my favorite styles. I love a good clean and crisp pils and this was very good, a tad on the watery side. Biscuity maltiness with some spicy hops and just a hint of grassiness. Gentle carbonation could have been a little more aggressive. Overall, could use some tweaking, but not bad at all. unrulythings (65), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 31, 2007 on tap at the brewery. aroma is slightly citrus and grassy, and light hops. taste is light, a bit sweet, though lots of citrus and spice throughout. a bit watery, though an easy drinker. Skyview (2768), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 15, 2007 On tap at the brewpub during ABA Beer Tour 07 and our beer tour group finished off the last of this pilsener. Pours a clear golden pale blonde brew with a thin white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film. Aroma of light wheat biscuits, some grassy hops and a touch of sweet citrus. Taste is medium bodied and lightly carbonated with a gritty texture and flavors of light malt and some citrus zest. Finish is slightly metalic, watery with some biscuit aftertaste. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jan 10, 2006 Clear and very faint watery looking beer with a soda head. The flavor is spicy which I was not expecting. Flavor is bigger but again that is not saying much because as the name denotes this beer is forgettable. gristman (4), USA does not count Mar 31, 2005 Clear and straw yellow. Aroma leads to notes of munich malt, base and spicey hops. Slightly heavy on the palate. Defined maltiness, almost too heavy for style, but works for a Bohemian Pils. Hops are slightly under done, but a nice nobel hops spice seems to come through. A biscuity flavor is left of the tongue with hints of hops and malt. Needs just a little tightening up, but great potential.
