Clear light yellow with white foam head. No noticeable smell, slightly bitter hop taste. One time only. (Velp 201205) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can 0,5ltr: Golden coloured brew thats not so sweet as its heavier Pilsener brother, but its slightly watery too.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a clear golden and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a metal malty touch . This beer smells to malt.

I’m not a connousier of beer as I normally drink wijn. But I just love this lager - Amstel Blond 4.0. I find one can of 500ml is enough for me to enjoy of an evening, whereas I could easily drink 500ml of wijn previously. I love the taste and that it’s only around 150 calories and not so high in carbs. I look forward to enjoyng it on a terrace if we get good summer weather. I’ve only found it in Albert Hein Supermarket in Abcoude and don’t know if it sells in pubs or restaurants but will find out.

50 cl. can @ home. Pours yellow with a white head. Smells like an ordinary lager. taste like a watered down lager. In fact it tastes like regular watered down amstel. I don’t really know who would want to drink this. boring watery semi pilsener.

Can: Medium airy (off) white head on top of a light yellow, golden tints, colored beer. Smell and taste are so regular like the beers in this style. Malts, some hops, hay, herbs, pilsmalts. Medium bitter. Bit watery and quite boring. Aftertaste of medium bitter and some malts. The typical pilsner taste does stay for a while but it’s not that tasty and just a bit on the boring side. Medium to fuller carbo, low (to medium) body, tingly sharper mouthfeel and a watery texture.

500ml Can @ home. Clear yellow / golden color, small white head. Standard pilsener smell and taste:malts and some bitter. Nothing special, just another average lager.

ABV: 4.1%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, toasted, corn, metalic. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is fizzy. [20110427]

Huge, fine yellowish head, whipped eggwhite-like, over straw-golden, well-carbonated beer. Sharpish malt nose, toast, corn. Again corn & sweet malts, white candi sugar, and utterly nothing else. OK, dried sugared hay. Supposedly ’refreshing’. With all that sugar, highly unlikely. Finish is somewhat drier. Utterly superfluous beer. Dumb blonde indeed.
