With grolsch bok the best bock from the big dutch brands. This one is a little better in balance. Not too sweet, not too bitter, but an overall good balance.

Tap at Lokaal Vredebreuk. Dark reddish brown with small off white head that leaves a creamy film. Dark brown bread, lots of caramel, light roasted notes, some chocolate and toffee. Medium sweet with slightly vegetal bitter finish. Medium bodied with slick and creamy feel. Quite light in the taste and the finish is slightly unpleasant, but overall not that bad.

A nice fullbodied autumn bock. Light sweet and bitter tones, with an aftertaste that is exceptionally smooth for a bock.

0.3 l bottle Appearance: Clear, reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, tanned head, which leaves only a few spots of lacing. Aroma: Faint, sweeti malts, Taste: Sweet malts caramel, nuts, coffee and brown sugar, followed by a medium long, slightly roasty and moderate bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Suprisingly how this survived after a Quad. While it’s a bit weak in aroma it’s taste is more then ok.
