~Aroma of of sour hay, malt, glass bottle, and light hops. ~Pours a very clear straw color with small diminishing head. ~Flavor of light malts, sour hay, and light hops. ~Light bodied, high carbonation, light bitter finish. ~Carribbeans answer to Corona. Light easy drinking brew. Uneventfull. I liked it better than Corona.

Slightly better than a garden-variety swill, and with somewhat better flavour than most. Had it once only, from the clear bottle so the urine-like colour was apparent. Not a bad beer for a hot day.

Bottle at a Beach Bar in Aruba: (Another country, yes!) Pours pale golden with a consistent white film of head. The aroma has some light grain- mainly nondescript and cereal-like with a touch of grass. Decent palate/texture for such a light macro. The flavor has some pale bread- very mild overall with only a tad of bitterness on the back, but it’s clean and unoffensive. Good for the heat of the Netherlands Antilles. (I think the exceptional ambiance of the beach, as well as the dry heat helped my rating.)

Bottle @ Curacao. This beer is in the same league with Corona and Sol. A straw-colored thirst-quencher served with a slice of lime, but not what you’d call a real beer.

Bottle. A friend was on a cruise through the Caribbean and brought this back. Aroma is grass, citrus, dough, basement aromas, and woody. Appearance is pale. With no head when poured. Flavor is corn and grass. Very smooth. Like a corona but better. Very smooth on the palate. Better then I thought it was going to be. Try it if you are on a cruise or in the Caribbean it is a good beer.

bottle at some beach bar near Willemstad. Best By Oct 2009. weak aroma, lite grainy scent. Clean yellowy gold color, small head, no lace. Bitter flavor, weak as it is. Lite body, watery mouthfeel, dry finish. what it is is what it is. Funny the women at tending bar said Amstel came up with this to counter Corona.

Bottle 33 cl. Enjoyed @ the lovely St. Martin. Clear yellow color with a small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Aroma of corn, sweet malt, sugary, light grassy. Light bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light sweet and bitter flavor. Light sweet finish.

Poured a golden color with a small white head that left no lacing. Aroma of toffee, toasted malts, some metal, and a bit of citrus. Taste was toffee, citrus, grass, grains but nothing offensive like Corona. Much preferred with a lime, but still better than Balashi.
