2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Ungstrup (23917) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - APR 12, 2004
A yellow beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet and sour with notes of mango, citrus, and lime. The flavor is very fresh with notes of lime and a dry lime finish. A boring beer - but probably very refreshing on a tropical island.
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 28, 2004
Bottled. Pale yellow, average head. Lightly spicy nose overpowered by rubber. Light bodied, but do actually have some light malt flavour, although hard to detect through all the rubber. Low bitterness. If you forget about the rubber it would be a decent thirst quencher.
1.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 Oakes (10184) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 22, 2005
Green-tinged fluorescent yellow colour. Grassy, slightly lemony hop in the lightish aroma alongside very faint pale malts. Very light on the palate with minerally flavours and just a hint of grassiness.
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 bierkoning (8099) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - JUN 23, 2002
Cornaroma. Sweetish taste. Malty and fruity (orange). No hopbitterness, watery and sticky.
0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 maeib (6618) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2006
Bottled. A greeny yellow colourd lager served in the bottle with a wedge of lime. This lime totally dominates the aroma. The taste is nasty and sugary and full of chemical badness. Very bad, the only plus being that when I ordered it I had no idea that it represents a new country!
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Cletus (6062) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 22, 2008
Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Smells of light citrus, apples, some skunky hints. Taste is very light with some passive hoppy hints and a touch of dry malt. I can see how this could be refreshing sitting on a hot desert island, but otherwise not a lot going on here.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 DruncanVeasey (5136) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 4, 2012
Brewed at Windward and Leeward, St Lucia, purchased at Wine World, Worthing, Barbados, 29/12/11. No alcohol aroma; beans, honey, wholemeal, straw hat, a little pine. Wet, gold, shrinking tuft of bubbles. Thick and glutinous with notes of licked stamps, just-polished furniture, straw hat, something like oak- rice? Laces like cream-based dessert. Not good.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Hildigöltur (5107) - København, DENMARK - APR 11, 2004
Pale golden coloured. Some hops and grass in the aroma. Light bodied and refreshing.
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - MAY 9, 2002
Light horseblanket and cereal aroma. Light golden color, small white frothy head that diminishes instantly. No taste but a little malt sweetness.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 egajdzis (4584) - Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 21, 2008
Poured a golden color with a small white head that left no lacing. Aroma of toffee, toasted malts, some metal, and a bit of citrus. Taste was toffee, citrus, grass, grains but nothing offensive like Corona. Much preferred with a lime, but still better than Balashi.
