Bottle at home. Whyís there 7% in it? I think the taste would be pretty much the same as the normal Amstel Lager, maybe a fuller body when there wasnít this alcoholic aroma. I donít understand the people who talk about caramel fruit and that kind of things, I mostly taste the alcohol.

Mooi donker appelgoud kleurig bier. Smaak zoetig met een pit. Romig van smaak ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From my memory: 33cl bottle @ a friendís place. Golden color, medium white head. Aroma malty, caramel. Taste light to medium sweetness, light to medium bitterness. Light body, livey carbon, fine sweetish-bitter finish, easy to drink, not bad at all.

Golden with small fluffy white head. Grassy, pilsner malts, unripe vegetables, touch of pine. Later bit more fruity, some citrus. Bit metallic in the aftertaste. Medium sweet with bitter kick. Bit dry. Not very good, but better then their pilsner.

Bought a bottle at the supermarket. The beer has a golden color and white head, which dissapears slowly. The CO2 level is just average. In the aroma tones of citrus, hops and malts. The taste is bitter with a light sweetness. The finish is a little dry and medium bitter. Not a brilliant one, just a little better than the regular pilsner, but thatís all.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2013 malty, roasty, herbal hops, dough, alcohol, clear deep golden, frothy white head that disappears slowly, roasty light sweetness, slightly bitter, medium body, oily feel, average carbonation, clean and smooth malty and mildly bitter finish

I donít understand this imperial pils style. Why make a beer thatís just very malty and alcoholic? For the alcoholics maybe? Not for beer lovers, thatís for sure.

Clear golden appearance, medium low head. Sweet, malty, not too bitter, very drinkable and refreshing. Better than Amstel Sterk.
