Taste like a touch of absolutely nothingness. Almost as bad as Corona...almost

Tasted from bottle into standard pint glass. Poured a clear golden color with creamy white head, somewhat lasting, little lace. Aromas of grain, faint earthy, musky hops, very subtle peppery yeast esters. A little malt complexity, mostly mild with a little toast and caramel. No major adjunct giveaways here. Light body, watery mouthfeel, high carbonation. Dry, refreshing finish. I’d say Amstel probably has a little more color, aroma, flavor, body, and alcohol than many run-of-the-mill light lagers.

Draught pours light amber with frothy head. not a massive aroma, but taste is quite a dry and hoppy. quite nice and refreshing, but a bit dry for me.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2012 Bottle, can and on tap. Yellow colour with a white head. A very standard and mild lager beer, nice and easy drinkable. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma and flavour.

Draught. Blonde beer with white head. Both, aroma and taste malted. On palate with some bitter hints.

Bottle. Pours fizzy and yellow...smells like sweet hay and some stale hops. A boring, bland, disappointing pale lager. Better than Heineken. [826]

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2012 Bottle. Fairly bland European lager - not the worst of its type but still pretty average.

Water. Touch of minerals. Fizzy. Water, water, water.

50cl bottle. A clear yellow colored beer, with a white head. An aroma of malt, fruit and hops. The taste is malty, citrus, and bitter. A little bitter aftertaste. Nothing more than a commercial pilsner.

A decent lager which has a nice enough taste. Pours a little flat with no real spark/bubbles.
