UPDATED: JAN 17, 2005 This beer has a gold/yellow body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a medium carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is sweet/bitter.

This costs too much for what you get. 5%ABV is its only salvation.

Fresh hop aroma and a medium gold color. Sticky white head is attractive. Light sweet malt taste and a long, but weak hoppy finish. Creamy mouth feel and an OK body. Pretty good – I prefer this to Heineken.

clear pale golden colour, fine head and a nice lace, some hops in the nose, oily and sweet, fresh - drinkable

Bottle. This is the british brewed version and its puzzling me. Poured it into the glass and head fell off so quick that I swear I heard it hit the bottom of the glass. First aroma was nicely hoppy. First taste was hoppy and nutty, finish was hoppy and quite long. Who brewed this? did they misread the recipe? Have they bottled the wrong stuff? For all the world this tasted like I would expect a run of the mill english pale ale to taste. I even had a second bottle to make sure. Exactly the same.

This is one big shame on the Netherlands.

Orange and hay in the aroma. Neutral taste with some orange. Bit skunky. Disappointing.

An ordinary uninteresting export-beer. No personality.
