1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 BeerBlockaid (683) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - SEP 20, 2005Watching this Nova program on string theories and quantum physics and parallel universes and shit got me thinking. Everytime I drink a shitty beer, it’s possible some bloke in a parallel universe is choking down some badass belgian ale.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Mr_Vogel (55) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 7, 2013
Bad example of a Dutch lager. Weak hops, weak bitterness, weak malts. Mostly watery. Typical beer that is not brewed, but produced. Weird thing is that it is on tap in so many cafés in Holland
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Rob_D_UK (183) - Surrey, ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2013
This beer has a gold/yellow body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a medium carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is sweet/bitter.

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Flocci (33) - BELGIUM - APR 29, 2013
I must be masochistic, coz I can’t for the life of me explain why I sometimes still drink this.
Weak, watery, unimpressing smell and taste, there’s the expected hops and some malt, but ye gods, why on earth is this beer so omnipresent and popular (pun intended)?
Every once in a while, on a warm terrace in Greece, I let my guard down and order me one of these, immediately regretting it on the first sip. Tohether with Heineken, Bud and the likes, I tend to give this the label "industrial waste".
Stay clear of it, there’s hundreds of beers more worthy of the name out there.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 KeefOz (472) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - APR 28, 2013
Tasted 13/4/2013 draught at Cafe De Dam, Amsterdam. Poured a clear golden amber with a one- to two-finger white foamy head that collapsed quickly. Low carbonation as shown by a few small bubbles. Aroma weakly of malt and a trace of hops. Taste initally sweet malt followed by a slight hops bitterness. Light body. Ended with a short bitter finish.

30cl bottle. One of the worst Dutch lagers there is. The combination of sweet and bitterness is just awfull in this beer.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Tyke (18) - Den Helder, NETHERLANDS - APR 20, 2013
golden, clear, white foam, lightly bitter, light body, thin feel, flat. Not great.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 bonkiedeaap (34) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - APR 14, 2013
300ml bottle at home, bought at the supermarket. Golden color and a white head. Taste is a little sweet, malty and has some bitterness, and there are some fruits. Further it’s watery and the taste is not very strong. Not the best pilsner in Holland.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Tide (723) - Espoo, FINLAND - MAR 26, 2013
Bottle from supermarket. Golden color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, toast, grass, grain. Dry bitter finish with citrus. Ok basic lager.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 hens (201) - Tallinn, Estonia, ESTONIA - MAR 18, 2013
0,33L bottle. Weak hop, yeast aroma. Taste is weak sweetness and sour hops and little bitterness. Quite tasteless, but something there is. I try it more some day.
