polomagnifico (418), Saginaw, Michigan, USA May 4, 2007 8.5oz bottle. A Dutch version of Budweiser. I like it more than Heineken but that’s not saying much. This is a very typical macro lager. It is easy to drink in hot weather.
yngwie (3523), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 27, 2008 Bottle, thx to Tarjei. A clear, slightly pale golden beer with a white head. Dusty, cellarish, fruity and grainy aroma suggesting sweetness. Sweet and grainy in the mouth, with some hops. Medium body. Some fruityness and bitterness in the finish. The beer isn’t really bad, it’s just utterly boring, and of no interest. (080731) MrAleman (70), guildford, Surrey, England Aug 24, 2008 Better than Heineken in its defence, but i can see why this has taken a bit of a roasting on this site. Not very exciting or inspiring. deft (62), Sweden Aug 23, 2008 Hazy light golden with plenty of thick white head. Lots of vegetables in aroma, some sweet malts but not at all pleasant to the nose. Taste is better but i find mostly sugar and some bitterness. gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 18, 2008 Bottle. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma is malt, fruit. Flavour is sweet, malt, fruit, hint of hop. Thin beer Pinball (418), Allerød, Denmark Aug 11, 2008 nice flavor for a macro. clear yellow, white head, flavor is sweet, but with good balance.
