8.5oz bottle. A Dutch version of Budweiser. I like it more than Heineken but that’s not saying much. This is a very typical macro lager. It is easy to drink in hot weather.

Bottle, thx to Tarjei. A clear, slightly pale golden beer with a white head. Dusty, cellarish, fruity and grainy aroma suggesting sweetness. Sweet and grainy in the mouth, with some hops. Medium body. Some fruityness and bitterness in the finish. The beer isn’t really bad, it’s just utterly boring, and of no interest. (080731)

Better than Heineken in its defence, but i can see why this has taken a bit of a roasting on this site. Not very exciting or inspiring.

Hazy light golden with plenty of thick white head. Lots of vegetables in aroma, some sweet malts but not at all pleasant to the nose. Taste is better but i find mostly sugar and some bitterness.
