On bottle from smal shop in Brela. Clear golden color, good foam. Aromas of light hops, wheat and some grassy notes. Light body & complexity. Good bitterness. A small notch above std macros

One of the first pale lagers to appear in the Netherlands already in the late 19th century, decades before the style seeped through in Belgium; since long owned by Heineken. Deep golden blonde lager, almost ’old gold’ in colour, with a thin and unstable head. Very weak profile, rather watery with sweetish corn, soft carbo and very mild herbal hop bitterness in the finish. In all: correctly made, but utterly boring, like most standard pale lagers.

Clear golden with a fairy quickly dissipating white foam with no lacings. Aroma is light grain, pale malt and some grass. Taste is about the same, hint of slight almond in between. Finishes lightly bitter albeit very wattery. Light body, medium carbo. A bit weak but works in 35 degree celcius on a Rhodes beach.

No body, watery taste with sweetish hints, and usually not enough carbonation where I drink it. Hops not detactable at all, finish is too sweet. Even worse than Heineken.

Tap at Lindos View Hotel, Rhodes. Clear yellow golden colour, white foam head and aroma of malt & grain. Sweet malty taste, with grain & light grassy bitterness. Watery mouthfeel, light body, high carbonation, residual sweetness in the finish. A bland lager for drinking cold.

Tja, een bier met weinig smaak aan, zoals zovele van deze soort bieren. Jammer

From tap in Lefkada, Greece. Looks nice and tasty. Very faint aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Good bitterness in the finish (pretty much the only positive thing about this one). Slighly better than the standard greek lagers.

Bottle, was curious if it was better than the Light version, it is but just barely, pours pale gold with a white head, sweetish malt aroma, not much taste, thin and watery, light bitter finish, nothing to see here.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pilsener glass. The appearance was a semi - clear yellow to orange color with a slight bubbly/foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. The smell didn’t have much to it as it slightly seemed to have a slight sweet cooked corn. A light invasive toastiness tries to come through but maintains a fond background. The taste was a mediocre sweet corn to toast . Slight caramel balanced it in a fairly decent way. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation comes across fairly smooth which was good for the style and for me. Overall, good pale lager that’s worthy of having again.

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2014 Cerveza color amarillo vivo. Sin aroma, poco sabrosa y sin apenas regusto. Para beber muy fría.
