COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A special light beer containing only 3.5% alcohol and approximately 35% fewer calories than regular lager beer. But every bit as thirst-quenching and refreshing.

Good solid light beer. Don’t go out and purchase Miller light, coors light, or bud light without sampling a six pack of these guys. Very good beer.

Free at event. From bottle. Aromas is corn and hay. Body is mildly skunked, but not as bad as say a Heineken. Some paper in there too. Decent carbonation. It is what it is.

Direct from the bottle at my daughters wedding... Decided to rate it for the occasion... Limited beer options at the venue (Heineken and Bud light). Have not had one of these in years... A light beer with light taste... Good for refreshment while dancing at your daughters wedding!!! Congrats to Jana and Russell.

10th March 2014, British Airways Flight 273: Heathrow to San Diego. The only beers available, this and Heineken, how very British! I had a hire car booked for after the 11 flight, so opted for this offering. First time I have had one since the early 90’s while in Bahrain. Out the can into plastic beaker, it’s a light golden colour with a fast fading white head. Mild hop aroma, mild hop taste. I remember why I’ve not bothered to have one for years. Refreshing but boring and a typical beer of this style, OK if you are driving or don’t want a real beer! Scored kindly because it was free; well, included in the flight cost anyway.

Clear Golden beer, small head but stable after all. Some barnyard notes predominate when is poured but after a while malt aromas are felt. The taste is watery, light, and almost flavorless.

Gedronken op Alcohol vrij en low Crab avond. Wat een ellende nog erger dan ze volwassen broertje. Kraanwater puur beter

Fles gedeeld, gelukkig. Ziet er uit als dood bier. Geur als malt. Smaakt als niks.

Bottle 355ml. Pours very clear blond with medium white head, quickly diminishing. Minimal lacing. Aroma is of grain, sugar, corn. Taste is of grain, dust, bitterness, unpleasant water. Palate: Light body. Light-medium carbonation. Overall: Pretty bad. Very watery. This does not even feel like a light beer. It’s like they just watered it down without caring about quality. Drain pour. Absolutely no reason to drink this. Well, maybe if I was crusing down the streets of Amsterdam, casually riding a mount of steel and rubber (that is a bicycle), maybe I would drink some of that fair Amstel Light, to avoid bumping into pedestrians. But that would be the only reason. Merck my words.

Bottle: Pours clear, light gold, bubbly..with a frothy white head. Grain malt, water aroma. Taste is the same... Very, very, watery.... Not awful...just...nothing really to report here..... Bland...at best.
