COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A special light beer containing only 3.5% alcohol and approximately 35% fewer calories than regular lager beer. But every bit as thirst-quenching and refreshing.

Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), trace hops (herbs), with a light note of solvent. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. An unbalanced grainy/plasticine mess.

A good light beer to have with dinner slightly bitter but wonít over power a meal.

Best light beer available, too bad it costs so much

Nothing special about this one. Definately a step up from the American macrobrews. However, if your going to fork out the cash for an import why not make it worth your while. Donít fall victim to all the hype that this is what írealí beer tastes like, itís not!

Slight bitterness, but too watery. A very small step above American macrobrews, but whatís the point. Also, big negative for using the insufferable Dennis Miller as a pitchman.

A decent light beer (somewhat oxymorish). Tastes like a decent pilsner with ice cubes.

The best light beer out there. Almost tastes like real beer.

Nothing special about this beer. Its the beer for Europeans who want to drink a crappy American light without paying the import fee for Bud Light. However, it is better than most of the American lights available...

It s light beer, why bother. Brewers have made the word light synonimous with no flavor. but it does beat most of the american made lights.

Its a light beer so thereís not much to be said here, though its taste is better than most light beers. That damn watered down taste is still there, but at least the look and aroma improve with amstel. Its too damn expensive for such an iffy beer though..i avoid it.
