Amstel Light has a thin, white head and a clear, yellow-golden appearance, with some streaming bubbles and almost no lacing. The aroma has an initial strong whiff of barley malt, then it settles into a faint, sweet malt smell. The taste is water, lightly-roasted malt, a touch of hop bitterness, and sweetness. Mouthfeel is watery and thin, and Amstel Light finishes crisp, clean, mostly dry, and easy drinking. Overall, this is an okay light beer, and I guess it’s worth trying. RJT

12 oz. bottle from a stem glass. Pours a standard pale lager golden color with almost no head. Aroma is intensely skunky and sweet...and with no date on the bottle I am forced to assume this beer normally smells like this. Taste is absolutely painfully skunky with a sickly sweet finish. Moderate carbonation. This is bad stuff.

Bottle - not poured. Scent has a little barley but is mostly just your typical "light beer" rotten scent. Taste is light and crisp and this does not impact your ability to handle heavy machinery. The only difference between this and miller lite is $15 per case.

Nothing really to talk about this beer.... Just a low calories light beer.... No need to try it out....

Low calories, but that is all this beer has, no taste golden pale color. Will not drink if I have other Options.

Probably one of the best "light" beers, at least has a bit of flavor to it, yet still light enough to be refreshing. Still doesn’t taste very good though.

Unremarkable. It’s low in calories so that’s mainly the only reason why I drink it. That and the fact it tastes better than bud light et al.

Bottle. Pours yellow with quickly diminishing head. Aroma is corn and light hops. Bitter taste. Light body. Burp-y. Forgettable.

My go to light beer. Actually tastes good. Goes down smooth, and you can drink a lot and still keep your wits.

Bottle at Christmas party. The aromas are skunk, corn. vrhe mouthfeel is watery bland and slightly bitter. Cheers!
