Pours a clear golden straw color with a 1-finger white head. Aroma is light, with notes of lemon and corn. Body is light and watery, with a mild fizziness. Flavor of corn with some caramel malt, but very mild.

12 oz bottle from Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh. Immediate skunky taste overwhelms anything else. Tastes pretty much like a watered down Heineken.

Had a million of these but finally decided to rate it for some reason. It was the only beer in the fridge at cubs suite. Yeah. A shitty version of shitty Heineken. The good thing is it only takes about 37 of them to get you drunk.

Can. Pours with a bright golden colour, a moderate amount of carbonation, and a white head, some hop in the aroma, and with little bitterness in the taste.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Tasted under its alias Amstel Lite. Typical ’light pils’, with a snow white, finely structured, sticky but not very stable head and brightly golden blonde, cristal clear colour. Aroma faintly hoppy, in an aromatic, flowery kind of way, pale malt and a vague honeyish sweetness, but not much else. Taste a thin graininess and malt sweetishness, smooth, otherwise very neutral and very watery as usual in this type of low-alcoholic lagers, only a very weak hop bitterishness in the tail. Basically tastes like the common Amstel Pilsener diluted with mineral water. Maybe that is exactly what is was.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
33cl can served on a BA flight. Clear yellow, quite pale, loads of bubbles, huge frothy white head, lasts a reasonable amount of time. Decent lacing. Citrus and lemon in the aroma, some grain and hints of banana. The expected pale macro lager flavour, light maltiness, a touch of sweetness. Quite dry, very light palette, fizzy but not too fizzy. Short sweet finish. Not the worst of the style.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Transfer from BA review on 6-2-12-
Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a very pale straw color with a small white head. The head faded fast giving almost no lacing.
Smell - The smell is almost non-existent with just the tiniest aroma of corn and wheat cereal.
Taste – The taste is quite light and is of a little bit of breadiness as a base. At the start, there is a light corn taste that mixes with the bread. This sweetness diminishes some as the taste goes on and in the end just leaves a light cereal taste on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The beer has a very thin body with a high level of carbonation – very fitting more the light tastes and body.
Overall – It is somewhat refreshing, but not flavorful at all. Possibly good on a very warm day, but otherwise not worth the time.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Oh yeah this beer. Ok, well here’s my take on it.
It was poured into a pilsener most of the time and a couple times poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a super light yellow color with not much of a head staring back at me. Lacing, uh...there wasn’t any.
The smell, it seemed to me, it was a bit corn/rice adjunct like if I could even pull that out.
The taste was basically bland and tried to bring back those corn/rice adjuncts to sweeten it, but they really weren’t there either.
On the palate, it sat super light and showed a great deal of sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed a bit harsh for the style, but it actually wasn’t too off.
Overall, hmmmm....another Light Lager, ho hum. Next, please.
