A special light beer containing only 3.5% alcohol and approximately 35% fewer calories than regular lager beer. But every bit as thirst-quenching and refreshing.

Not sure why I actually picked this up my last trip to the brew thru, but I did. If I have ever had this beer before, I donít remember it...if I had I would have steered clear (but now I have 5 more in the fridge lol). The aroma is hard to explain, but let me attempt. The beer smells like skunky swamp water (used to live in Florida, if youíve smelt a marsh...this is what it smells like, not pleasant). The taste runs right up the same alley, hardly any! Iím not trying to totally kill this beer in ratings, but its like someone mixed half the beer with water. Might be the worst light beer Iíve tried in my 32 years. Only good thing...the color of the beer looks appealing (much like a bud light or miller light). This will be my last 6 pack Iíll ever buy (ouch!).

Light yellow color with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is of mal and light hops while the flavor is similar with a dry end. Thin and boring ending but nothing terrible. Frankly, quite drinkable

Pours clear pale yellow with two fingers of white head. Aroma of citrus and light bread. Taste is mellow citrusy bitter with abrupt sweet finish. Very light, smooth body with soft carbonation.

[Draught at Le Piano Vache, Paris, May 20] 23rd rating of my Paris/Amsterdam trip. Pours a clear deep orange with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Aroma of grain, fruit and sugar -- sweet and fruity. Flavour: Slightly watery, grainy and fruity, just a tiny hint of hops, maybe. Light to average bodied. Itís fine, nothing foul. Whatever.

pours clear light yellow straw with a decent white cap showing poor retention or any sign of lacing. sweet grains, wort and cereals, corn, faint grape-y fruitiness, cardboard, clean yeast - although dust traces are to be found, minerals. average carbonation, light body - watery; relatively dry and bland grassy-herbal finish. blah.

Słodki, dość nieprzyjemny aromat. W smaku słody i stęchła woda. Totalna pustka.

Nothing special here. Light beer without much taste. Good for long days of drinking

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2015 Canned version: I think this is one the best light beers Iíve ever had. I donít mind the low ABV, it has a fuller flavor than AAL light beers. I just wish I could find Amstel regular lager here in the US, as I expect it to have a fuller flavor and even more enjoyable.

Really easy to drink, perfect with beer sausages. The taste reminds me a little bit of Staropramen!
