Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, malt, light cereal, vegetable notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration, thin, malty. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20120401]

A light yellow beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is malty, while the flavor is malty and hoppy with a dry end and a thin body. Boring.

(Bottle 30 cl) Comes as "Amstel Lite" in my version. Fully golden but practically without any head. Very fresh, lightly citrusy nose. Naturally rather light-bodied, not much malt, but a small, short, dry finish. And again some weak citrus in the flavours. Actually a rather pleasant surprise. 180705

33 cL can. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild grassy and slight cornish. Bitter, mild citric and cornish malty. Light bitter and cornish finish.

Bottled, thanks jbrus! Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, malts and some slight notes of cardboard. Flavour is is metallic, malty and some slight cardboardy notes.

Clear golden with tiny white short lasting head. Sweet malty aroma with fruity notes. Sweet flavour with malty accents and hints of caramel. Sweet finish. Watery stuff.

A few years back a buddy of mine went to San Diego. I told him to see if he could find some local brews for me, you know, like AleSmith. He brings back Amstel Light and Pete’s Strawberry Blonde. Some bloody friend, eh?

Served at 11C. Golden color, small white head. Grainy, malty aroma. Grainy, sweet malty, watery flavor. Useless low calorie beer. Doesnt taste same than the most low alcohol beers, just very watery.
