wilkie (1088), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Feb 7, 2003 Not as "light" as I thought it would be. Has a nice pilsener type flavor
which is smooth. Flavorful hops too. Much better than sam adams
light.
mwa423 (10), , Ohio, USA Aug 26, 2008 The beer is extremely light yellow, almost clear. Average macros have more color to them then this beer. There is a thin fizzy head that dies down to some lacing that stuck throughout the beer. The smell almost seemed skunked and is similar to another Dutch beer I can think of (Heineken).
Taste was lacking, seeming watered down and only a crisp aftertaste kept my taste score from being lower. This beer goes down like water, so I can’t take a lot of palate points off.
Overall, it about average for a widely distributed macro but not worth the "premium import" title. urnamesucks (92), New York City, New York, USA Aug 24, 2008 When looking at mass produced beers that they pump out at the bar this is one of my winners. At the same time it is very typical of all of those light beers. I think it tastes slightly better than most beers at local know nothing bars. NJJereme (125), Saint Petersburg, Florida, USA Aug 23, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pous a yellow/straw color with tin, white head that fades quickly. Skunky, malty crap. At least it is easy to drink. It is barely beer, mostly water. Pretty awful stuff. Immy (1555), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Clear straw, almost no head. Thin, sweet and dull as hell. A pointless beer. PFFT. Angeloregon (1867), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 11, 2008 From the bottle--Pours a thin straw clear body with next to no head after quick dissipation. Skunky thin, malty flavor and nose. Another dull premium lager.
