gam (464), brisbane, Australia Apr 27, 2008 Medium head, weak carbonation, gold coloured beer.Aroma grassy salt air, malt tones.Flavour bland mild bitter but other tastes are missing badly.Finish an awful bland taste that got worse.(I think they opened up a few dykes, instant beer).
Braudog (3461), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates May 24, 2008 Bottle. The picture tells the story ... this is a deep golden beer that pours with an airy head. Slightly corny, but a smooth drinker, along the lines of an American light beer. Not disgusting, but undistinguished, light lager with little to offend any drinker. (#3456, 5/24/2008) espenra (63), Oslo, Norway May 16, 2008 33cl bottle from Meny, Grønland. It poured a light, almost transparent yellow color with a big head that settles down quickly in the glass. The aroma is malty. It was served cold, so the flavor was rather lacking, but it tastes of grass(?), a bit of citrus and malts.
Definately a summer-beer. martinboer (1297), Amsterdam, Netherlands May 4, 2008 Bottle in Oslo. Malty. Golden body. Slight citrus flavour. Not that bad, really. Has session beer potential. Doggythedog (919), Split, Croatia Apr 12, 2008 Bottle, Café Incognito, Budapest First new beer I got to rate in Budapest. Poured a golden-yellow colour with a medium sized thick white head. I thought that the nose was surprisingly nice for what it was, dusty hop ofer fruity malt. The taste was odd. Some lemon and a sugary corny peachy maltiness with a watery finish and a sugary sweet aftertaste. Thought that it could be a beer mix, but it would seem it isn’t. Cute and I didn’t find it too offensive.... Might be influenced by the fact that it was the first cold liquid that entered my body that day (and it was late afternoon).
