2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bought a bottle at the supermarket. Has a hazy yellow color and a white head, which dissapear very fast. Carbonation is very low. Aroma of fresh lemon. Taste is a little bitter and sour and reminds me of Spa Lemon. The aftertaste is fresh and has a little bitter. Overall, this is more lemonade than beer. Nice, when it´s about 30 degrees, but I prefer a normal pilsner.

12-oz. green American bottle (brown bottles for European sales). Amstel Radler has a thick, white, fizzy head, a hazy, milky, fiercely bubbly appearance, and very light lacing left behind. The aroma is strongly lemonade, with background malt, and the flavor is the same. Mouthfeel is medium, and Amstel Radler finishes tart and sweet and highly guzzable. RJT

Ya’ll are a bunch of haters! This is good stuff, as long as you don’t think about it as beer. Lemonade nose, super lemony flavor like adding sugar to fresh-squeezed lemon juice, absolutely no sign of beer anywhere to be found, probably cheaper than San Pellegrino. Sure’s way too sweet, but it’s also
certainly better than the regular Amstel! And at 2% ABV you could drink a gallon for Sunday breakfast and the preacher man would be none the wiser.

A- Lemons, sweet, lemonade, cleaner.
A- Pale yellow color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Lemons, lemonade, slightly sweet, slightly tart.
P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, sweet finish.
O- Back in my early beer drinking days I would’ve loved this. Now, not so much. Certainly not bad. One of the better Radlers/Shandies I have had. Basically tastes like lemonade with a hint of alcohol in it. And that’s all there is, is a hint of alcohol. At 2% I could session this all day long at the beach. If you like lemonade go for it. Not overly artificial tasting.

Milchig trübes gelbes Getränk mit wenig weißen Schaum. Geruch säuerlich fruchtig nach Limonade, so ist auch der Geschmack, keine Spur von Bier.
