First, the calorie listing on this beer is based on its abv, and doesn’t include the sugar added to the lemon juice. A can of this is more like 150 calories. But it is indeed as advertised, beer mixed with lemonade. Slightly tart lemon smell, very cloudy yellow under a fizzy soda pop head. Delivers a bit of malt, with lemon juice, but a bit much on the sugar (I’m presuming regular cane sugar, since one internet lookup listed that). A decent refresher on a hot day like this.

Bottle. Hazy yellow pour with a smaller head. Light and refreshing - lots of lemon and some sweetness. Fine for what it is.

Devo dire che ero scettico sulle birre al limone, e non avevo molto torto, questa Amstel è molto leggera, molto limone, poco gusto di birra, peró non è molto cattiva.

Where and how: bottle 330 ml
Aroma felt to be authentic with its lemon character, less chemical soapy feel more of true lemon.
Appearance :
Top: larger top that reduced quickly.
Base: bright hazy gold.
Palate : mid lighter bodied, frisky.
Taste: lemonade like, sweet but not too. Tart mid, slight grainy notes.
other notes refreshing got to “beach drink”

The beer snob in me is totally surprised by my like of the radler style, but I can’t help it, it’s refreshing and tasty. Tastes like a sweet soda that is a mix of lemon and pineapple. Alcohol is nowhere to be found, of course it’s only 2%. Decent.

Bote 33 cl agosto 2013 y en 26-08-2014, un buen refresco con ligero sabor a cerveza para una tarde de calor. No sabe mal dentro de su categoría, refrescante.

330ml can from Supermarket Flora, on Lindos Rhodes. Hazy pale yellow colour, short lived white foam head and lemony aroma. Taste is sweet lemon with some hay and biscuity notes. Thin mouthfeel, light bodied, high spritzy carbonation, lemony finish. OK for the hot weather.

From a green bottle this stuff is quite refreshing. i liked it all-round. No ill ale attributes in this fruit beer. Well done radler. A better pop flavored fruit beer. Only problem is you’ll need to do a sixer to catch a buzz.

12 ounce bottle from Wegman’s Leesburg, opened 6/5/14. Pours a pale hazy chalky yellow color with a thin frothy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of straight lemonade with maybe a hint of grain. The taste is sweet lemonade. Mildly tart finish. Thin bodied. Meh.
